The "Gîte du Mas Perché des Oliviers" is a restored 18th century old stone house of the Cévennes set in a quiet countryside amid 8 acres of land, peacefully nestled amongst the vineyards and olive-trees with terraced gardens overlooking the Cèze river valley and the old village of Saint Ambroix, at walking distance from the village.

The house in 2002 before renovation :
a provencal « Mas » in the Cevennes.
the extended house in 2007, including new terraces and re-designed roadway access.

In 2002, Dominique and Amjad NASIM-KRISCHEL, a couple of psychologists half Belgian and Indian, fell in love with this region and bought this old stone mansion : they renovated the farm house to its stylish character and built adjacent cottages keeping the old architectural techniques in place, but they also added to the house all the modern and comfortable upgrades.

They bought antique furniture in the region “Le Gard” and brought back some gorgeous pieces of furniture from the Belgian antique markets
